If you missed yesterday's post, this is a 21-day goal to write 3 gratitudes each day in an effort to train the brain to focus on the good in my life.  This is learning a skill which will hopefully make me a happier person.

Today was a day like any other.  I had great aspirations, only to have those aspirations dashed on the rocks by too much internet browsing and office chatter.

  1. I'm grateful to have an assistant (co-op) at work who is smart, cares, and catches on quickly.

  2. I'm grateful to have a co-worker/friend in Kenny at work who reminds us all to take it easy and not take life too seriously.

  3. I'm grateful to have a large desk which I can expand my work to so as not to feel cramped.  I don't have to spend precious focus time keeping it clean.  It means I can enjoy a lower impact day each day until I'm ready to take the plunge and clean up (about once every 10-14 days).


Note to self: Tomorrow, visit the skills you've learned.  Dig up some good ones and cite those to be grateful for being able to rely on.
